YTC: Yimchungru Tribal Council (YTC) is saddened at the sudden demised of late Z. Yansomong of Showuba village on January 24. YTC said he was among the senior most Naga National workers from the Yimchungru community who joined the Naga struggle for sovereignty in the late 1970’s, a man of patriotism who had strongly supported and uphold the integrity of YTC whenever arises. The council described him as a sociable, generous and warm person who was always ready to contribute for social cause. his death is the loss of Yimchunger community in particular & Nagas in general. The Council conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and pray that Almighty God grant solace in this hard time.WYSU: Western Yimchungru Student’s Union (WYSU) expressed shock at the sudden demise of late Z. Yansomong of Sotokur village and a permanent settler of Showuba village, on January 24. WYSU said late Yansomong was working as the Deputy Kilonser of GPRN/NSCN under Law & Justice, joined Naga National Movement at the young age with an idealogy like any true freedom fighters to dedicate for the struggle of Naga sovereignty.
WYSU described him as honest and extrovert person who always encouraged and advise the students. While lamenting the loss by his demise, WYSU conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and pray almighty to grant solace at the hard time.
SSU: Showuba Students Union (SSU) has expressed sorrow at the sudden demise of late Z. Yansomong, Deputy Kilonser NSCN/GPRN, on January 24. While conveying condolences to the bereaved family, the union prayed to God to give strength and comfort at this hour of grief.
