An ORGI delegation inspected the ongoing first phase of Census 2027 and House Listing Operation in Chiephobozou.

DIMAPUR — A delegation from the Office of the Registrar General and Census Commissioner (ORGI), India, visited Chiephobozou rural and urban census charges on Thursday to inspect the ongoing first phase of Census 2027.
According to a DIPR report, the delegation comprised Dr. Manoj Jain, Joint Director, ORGI, New Delhi, and Chankit Kumar, Statistical Investigator, ORGI, along with officials from the Census Directorate, Kohima, including Dr. Kekrietshunuo Kire, Senior Executive, and Athisü Chachei, Statistical Investigator.
The team was accompanied by Alemsongla Jamir, Field Trainer and Lecturer at DIET Chiechama; M. Ruthla Sangtam, Field Trainer and Lecturer at DIET Chiechama; and Additional Deputy Commissioner and Sub-Divisional Census Officer, Chiephobozou, Vekusheyi Rhakho.
During the visit, the delegation inspected census operations in Nerhe Phezha, Botsa, Chiephobozou Urban Ward-5 and Touphema village.

The team also inspected newly enumerated houses, interacted with household heads, and guided enumerators and supervisors on the House Listing Operation to ensure the quality and accuracy of the enumeration process.
Speaking at a brief meeting held in the ADC's office chamber, Dr. Manoj Jain said the purpose of the visit was to observe and review the implementation of the first phase of Census 2027 and assess the progress of the ongoing House Listing Operation.
