Dimapur, July 7 (EMN): Ahthibung Region Club (ARC), in collaboration with PHC Ahthibung and Cultural Club Ahthibung (CCA), conducted a medical camp at Old Soget village under Peren district on July 7.
In an update, ARC vice chairman Henpu Kuki stated that nearly 202 villagers including new born and old persons were treated by Dr. Vezokholu Khamo from PHC, Athibung, and her team during medical camp. He added that on-spot malaria, Hepatitis B, and HIV tests were conducted by medical team.
CCA conducted a skit and a lecture on AIDS prevention for the villagers. They also distributed condoms and pamphlets during the camp. It further stated that villagers have urged ARC authorities to frequently organise such programmes for the benefit of public in the region.
