NTC: Nagaland Tribe Council (NTC) has condemned the brutal day-light murder of Alino Lotha by Rupak Singh and stated that such heinous act deserves condemnation from all sections of society.
NTC hoped that the criminal-justice system will pronounce fast and award befitting punishment to the accused. NTC also stressed on the need to strengthen the system so as to ensure justice for the victims.
Terming Alino’s murder case as an open and shut case, NTC urged the police to conclude its investigation at the earliest. It added that the outpouring of public anger as reflected in the October 25 public rally should be taken note of seriously by the government.
With the increasing cases of crime against women in the State with little redressal measures, it urged the government to set up fast-track courts to settle such matters.
MKPON: Mech Kachari Public Organization Nagaland (MKPON) has also strongly condemned the murder of Alino Lotha in broad daylight by one Rupak Singh at New Market, Dimapur, on October 23.
The organisation has urged the administration to punish the accused as deem fit of the heinous crime and set an example so that such barbaric crimes are not repeated. The organisation further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and also prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
