Dimapur, March 19 (EMN): Various organizations have condemned the assault meted out on Dr. Aotoshi, a leading Naga businessman, on Saturday evening at Purana Bazar, Dimapur.
ACAUT: ACAUT has condemned the assault on the prominent citizen of Dimapur in an incident of road rage, at Purana Bazar, Dimapur on March 18.
In a press release issued by ACAUT Media Cell, stated that Dr. Aotoshi who is the CEO of widows Media and Pro-Chairman of Delhi Public School (Dimapur) and a consultative body member of ACAUT Nagaland is a respected and law abiding citizen.
It also stated that he was brutally attacked and threatened by one Vinoka Khetoshe Awomi, who apparently is a theologian and a resident of Purana Bazar, despite Dr. Aotoshi’s who was profusely bleeding and his wife’s repeated plea to allow him to go for medical treatment the assailant refused to let him go and instead further hurled abuses and threatened him.
ACAUT demanded that the assailant be booked under all sections of the penal code that were violated and punished promptly as per the law.
“To set an example that law breakers will be held accountable, that Dadagiri and Gooda Raj culture are a thing of the past and that law abiding citizens are comforted by the fact that rule of law prevails in Nagaland, ACAUT added.
BAD: Business Association of Darogapathar (BAD) has strongly condemned the heinous and unprovoked attack on its association advisor, Dr. Aotoshi, on March 18 at Purana Bazaar.
In a press release issued by the association chairman imenuklo Longchar and secretary Limala Walling, stated that the attacker overtook Dr. Aotoshi vehicle from the wrong side then, on getting a ditch in his own vehicle, started abusing him both verbally and physically.
Stating that such kind of brutal act has no place in the civilized society, the association has requested the concerned authority look into the matter and bring justice, so that such kind of uncivilized act is repeated in further.
DVC: Darogapathar Village Council (DVC) has vehemently condemned the inhuman and barbaric physical assault and verbal abuse on its bonafide member, Dr. Aotoshi by one Vinoka Awomi of Purana Bazar, on Saturday evening.
The council stated that such uncivilised behaviour have no place in a civilized Society and unacceptable.
Further, DVC urged the law enforcing agency to take appropriate actions against such crime and make Dimapur City a better place to live.
MSTD: Merangkong Senso Telongjem Dimapur (MSTD) has condemned the assault meted out on one of its members, Dr. Aotoshi by Vinoka Awomi of Litami village, Zunheboto district, and a resident of Purana Bazar, Dimapur. The union requested the District Administration and Police to apprehend the culprit and his accomplice at the earliest and award punishment as per the law.
