It may be mentioned that roads in Nagaland, especially in Kohima and Dimapur, have been a hot topic of discussion among the public for years now due to poor maintenance by one government after another. It deteriorated even further this year after the incessant rains triggered several land-sinking and landslides between the two major towns of the state.
