Kohima, March 12 (EMN): The first Open Super Six cricket tournament organised by United Brothers began on Friday at Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School ground in Kohima .
Altogether, 12 matches were played on day-one where all the men of the match were awarded with certificates.
The remaining pre-quarter final matches will be played on March 14 starting from 8 am. Quater finals , semis finals and the final will be played on the same day.
The winning team will walk away with INR 10,000 and the runners-up will get INR 5,000.
The organisers informed everyone attending the tournament to maintain SOP as per the guidelines issued by the Medical department and requested to ensure cleanliness in and around the ground.
