Through this letter, I want to bring up Limited Department Exam 2026 for in-service teachers which will be conducted on May 6, 7, and 8 (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) to your good office.
In Nagaland, there are around 22,000 teachers. Most of the teachers meeting the eligibility criteria will be seating for this exam. So, mass casual leave for this exam will hamper the functioning of schools.
Therefore, I request our honourable Chairman and Secretary NPSC to kindly reschedule the date and fix it on non-working days like 4th Saturday (23th May) and May 27, which is a general holiday (Id-ul- Zuha) as per the Nagaland Govt. calendar, or postpone to summer break (vacation), so that all eligible teachers can seat for the exam without affecting the student community.
