We the Zeliang People ‘Organisation ZPO (N) on behalf of the public of Peren District, have the honour to address following grievances for your kind immediate action. That sir, Peren District headed by a single sub Divisional Officer (SDO) Power under Chumukedima division is being faced many hardships in power on account of poor maintenance. The Jungle cutting is not being done seasonally as a result some electric poles are invisible by jungle. Besides immediate repairing works like replacement of wires, poles of the line has not done in time.Moreover, no proper detail staff site on duty room to look after the power 24 hrs. and even the public cannot contact them in time of need to the office because of the poor communication as a result, the public especially the students community are facing untold hardships even to maintain their study hours because of the irregular power supply especially at night as the final exam is nearing.
Therefore, the ZPO felt that it is the duty of the head to look after its division supplying necessary materials and urge its official staff to be in their full time duty for the urgent needs of the public in general
