Having neglected students and teachers, and only after consequences have been elicited, the inimitable government of Nagaland has decided to set up a committee to safeguard career of students.
Chief Minister of Nagaland TR Zeliang has said on Saturday during the the 4th convocation of Nagaland University in Medziphema in Dimapur district that the state will be setting up a committee’ to suggest steps to ensure that the careers of the students are not put into further jeopardy.
‘Referring to the pathetic and serious matter of the 150 Naga students from some Higher Technical Institutions, T.R Zeliang said that the state government would be setting up a Committee to suggest steps so as to ensure that the careers of the students are not put into further jeopardy.
He was addressing the 4th Convocation of Nagaland University at SASRD Medziphema on 5th Dec 2015.
Just a few days ago, about 150 students studying engineering in an institute in Uttar Pradesh were reportedly ejected from the college after the government’s failure to release scholarships and tuitions since July 2014.
