One killed in hit-and-run case in Dimapur

Dimapur, Nov. 6 (EMN): In a tragic incident, one pedestrian was killed by a speeding car while he was crossing the road at 7th Mile in Dimapur on November 5.

According to the officer in-charge of Traffic Zone II, Peter Shuya, the pedestrian was hit by a speeding car while crossing the road at around 11 am. The victim succumbed to injuries in the hospital on the same day, he added.

Shuya further informed that the driver of the car has been arrested and an FIR lodge at Chümoukedima police station.
