KOHIMA — A
private vehicle was involved in an accident near the Kisama first gate along
National Highway 29 on Saturday, leaving an occupant with minor injuries. The
accident happened at around 2:30 pm.
The PRO and Additional SP of Kohima, K Soriso, told Eastern
Mirror that there were four occupants in the vehicle, including one female and
three males, at the time of the accident. They were reportedly on their way to
the Hornbill Festival at the Naga Heritage Village in Kisama from Dimapur.
The female occupant, aged 24, sustained minor injuries and
received medical aid, the PRO said, adding that the cause of the accident
cannot be ascertained.
