Dimapur, July 22 (EMN): Troops of 36 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) along with police representatives launched an operation at Saijang village, Peren District on July 21.
During the search, the team recovered 5696 tablets of Spasmo Proxyvon and 101 bottles of liquor from the suspected house and apprehended the alleged owner who was identified as Akhon, age 28 years, residence of Saijang village under Peren District.
The apprehended accused alongwith recovered items were handed over to Athibung Police Station for further investigation.
