Dimapur, April 28 (EMN): 32 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters IGAR (North) alongwith police representatives launched an operation at Veterinary Colony, Burma Camp, Dimapur District on April 26.
During the operation, the search recovered one Pt 22 mm Pistol with magazine from one Nurul Huk (24 yrs), resident of Burma Camp. According to PRO IGAR (North), the individual revealed that he has been involved in procurement and smuggling of arms.
The apprehended individual along with recovered arms and items were handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation.
