One fresh Covid-19 case detected in Nagaland after 10 days; tally stands at 12226

Nagaland currently has two active cases and registered 11,979 recoveries till date

Dimapur, March 24 (EMN): After not registering any fresh Covid-19 cases for 10 consecutive days, one new case was detected in Dimapur on Wednesday, taking Nagaland’s tally to 12,226.

This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, through a tweet.

He also informed that one positive patient in Mokokchung has recovered, and Nagaland currently has two active cases.

According to the information provided by the ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Nagaland has recorded 11,979 recoveries, 154 migrated cases and 91 deaths, out of which 10 have been ruled “not Covid-related”.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima and Dimapur have one asymptomatic case each.
