One dead as bike hits utility pole in Dimapur

Dimapur, Nov. 21 (EMN): One person was killed and another injured after the motorcycle they were riding hit a utility pole at Sovima village in Dimapur at around 5.30 pm on Saturday.

A source informed that they were coming from Singrijan village side before meeting with the accident. One died on the spot while the other suffered head injuries.

The pillion rider, who sustained minor injuries, was taken to a hospital, the source informed.

The victim was reportedly riding without wearing a helmet.
