One arms peddler held

Dimapur, March 14 (EMN): Based on specific information, 32 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) along with police representative launched an operation at Rail Bazar, Dimapur on March 8. During the search operation, the team apprehended one identified as Sanjeev Phukhom (25), son of late Jugeshor Phukhom, resident of Ura village, Walford Dimapur, along with one Pt 22 mm Pistol, magazine and four live rounds of Pt 22 mm Pistol. The accused along with the recovered arms and ammunitions was handed over to Sub Urban Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation.   [caption id="attachment_103070" align="alignnone" width="216"] The accused under custody.[/caption]
