Dimapur, March 10 (EMN): Based on specific information, 32 Assam Rifles alongwith police representative launched an operation at Govinda Paira Colony, Burma Camp, Dimapur, March 6.
During the operation, troops of Assam Rifles apprehended one Igato Sumi (31), son of Hekato Sumi of Thilixu Burma Camp, Dimapur along with one Pt 22 mm Pistol and Mobile phone.
The apprehended individual alongwith the recovered arms and items was handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation.
