Kudos to boxer Lovlina Borgohain for pointing out to authorities about omitting North-Eastern states in Indian map printed on the napkins of a restaurant in Glasgow.
Sir,
Kudos to the illustrious Boxer Lovlina Borgohain for humbly pointing out to the concerned authorities that the Indian map; printed on the napkins and displayed outside the Glasgow Restaurant 'Mister Singh's India, The Home of Curry' (where she visited for a celebratory dinner during the ongoing Commonwealth Games); do not feature the North-Eastern states, which is scandalous to say the least, especially when the entrepreneur advertises the culinary delicacies of India!
While it is nice that the restaurant authorities had acknowledged their mistake and promised to rectify it, many "proud" Indians of so-called "mainland" should also enlighten themselves about the existence of such an exquisite region well within the country, residents of whom often get subjected to racial abuses in many states by treating them as "aliens".
May racial religious cultural heterogeneity be India's pride.
Thanking You,
Yours,
