The Officers’ Hill Colony Panchayat (OHCP) Kohima held a thanksgiving and pre-Christmas service at Hotel 2K on December 13.
NCRC Kohima Pastor Toshi Imchen delivered a message on the occasion from the book of Isaiah 42:7. He called upon the leaders of the colony to share the joy and gift of Christmas with others and also encouraged the gathering to spread the love of Jesus Christ and make this Christmas meaningful by letting it take place in their hearts.
OHCP chairman, Khrielakuo extending his greetings said that this time of the year is to reflect back on what has been achieved during the year. He said the spirit of oneness is one of the greatest strengths of the organisation.
“We uphold the spirit of Christmas with love, joy, peace and hope,” he said while also looking forward to New Year 2016 with anticipation of continued success and development of OHCC community.
Chaired by OHCP treasurer Vikheto the programme commenced with Advisor OHCWO Nezochono offering invocation while OHYO president Metevizo Sophie read the scripture. Special number was presented by Neise Chale and OHCP general secretary Ruokuolhouvuo proposed the vote of thanks.
