Officials urged to strictly follow MCC guidelines

Dimapur, Jan. 20 (EMN): A co-ordination meeting for implementation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) for Wokha district was held on Jan. 20 in the deputy commissioner’s conference hall. The meeting was held with election expenditure monitoring cell, Election Expenditure monitoring control room and call centre, assistant expenditure observers, video surveillance team, video viewing team, accounting team, flying squads, static surveillance team and media certification, and monitoring Cell. Presiding over the meeting, sub division officer (civil) of Wokha T Lanusenla Longkumer informed all team members about their roles and responsibilities to be carried out during the election process. She also reminded all concerned officials to remain in their respective place of assigned duties and perform their responsibilities with sincerity. With the Model Code of Conduct is in-force, SDO urged all officials to strictly follow the laid down guidelines for the smooth conduct of the election.
