Dimapur, Oct. 25 (EMN): A team comprising officers from district administration, police, food and civil supplies, legal metrology, IOC (Indian Oil Corporation) officials and DBs inspected the petrol outlets in Dimapur town and Chumukedima on Oct. 25. The main objective of the inspection was to check fuel adulteration, density, quality, quantity, facilities for consumer such as clean toilets, drinking water and free air refilling etc.
The team inspected the fuel quality, density and temperature, and conducted filter paper test.
During the inspection, SDO(c) Dimapur Zubenthung Ngullie directed those proprietors of petrol pumps without drinking water facilities to put up the same with a month’s time and also asked them to improve the quality of the toilets in their enterprise.
The inpected petrol pumps were found to be within the permissible limit on fuel quality, the DIPR updated.
