Dimapur, April 22 (EMN): The Secretary Home and Engineer (H) Estate Division inspected the ongoing construction of Nagaland House at R.K. Puram and the residential flats construction at Dwarka on April 20 and 21.
Kuolie Mere, PRO New Delhi in a press release informed that officials had discussions with the concerned contractor and gave necessary instructions for expediting the works on need based priorities for timely inauguration and taking over by the government within the shortest time limit. The construction parties also assured to take up the required works on war footing and handing over within 2-3 months if bare requirement of funds can be released to them.
The inspection officials strongly felt that these works should be completed and taken over to avoid serious technical snags and public inconveniences in the long run. Hence, mere said the officials decided to take it up with the government for appropriate actions.
