Officers take stock of flood affected areas in Dimapur

Dimapur, Aug. 27 (EMN): Under the initiative of MLA Moatoshi Longkumer, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dimapur Albert Ezung, SDO (Civil), District Disaster Management Authority, and Naga People’s Front (NPF) party functionaries visited the flood affected areas in Dimapur on Aug. 27. The team met the GB and council chairman of Grace Colony, Anitet Colony and inspected the flood affected areas at Lengrijan, LRC, Naga cemetery and Sachu colony. After taking stock of the situation, the team of officers along with DDMA members held a meeting at the MLA’s residence, where the disaster management authority were requested to assess the situation in consultation with the GBs of the affected localities and provide immediate restoration and relief to the affected families. It has informed that in case of any emergency, citizens can call the DDMA emergency number 1070 for assistance.
