Dimapur, Oct. 13 (EMN): Commissioner-secretary of Industries and Commerce and electoral roll observer for Wokha district, N Hushile Sema, has urged the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to be diligent in their roles and responsibilities as she said success of the electioneering process in the district as well as the State will largely depend on their performances.
She said this at the training of BLOs for two constituencies namely 37 Tiyi and 38 Wokha for special summary revision 2018 in the office of Deputy Commissioner on October 13. The training is being conducted for inclusion of new voters between the ages of 18 to 21 years.
Hushile Sema expressed happiness to know that 90 percent of the BLOs in the country as well as in the State are teachers, who constitute backbone of the nation in terms of spreading knowledge and for successful implementation of electioneering process of the country.
DEO and DC, Wokha, Wezope Kenye, was confident that all the BLOs are well equipped and acquainted in their role and responsibilities and added that the district is ready to face the forthcoming state assembly election.
Kenye also said that special campaign with Booth Level Agents of political parties for receiving claims and objectives at their respective polling stations will be conducted on October 14 and 28.
