Oath taking ceremony of Dhansiri Town Committee held in Diphu

Diphu, Aug. 30 (EMN): The oath taking ceremony of the newly formed Dhansiri Town Committee (DTC) under Department of Town Committee Affairs, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) was held at KAAC new secretariat building conference hall in Diphu on Tuesday.

The oath taking ceremony was conducted by KAAC, Joint Secretary Incharge Town committee affairs, Dilip Terang.

The newly inducted town committee members are Chairman Hambang Jidung, Vice Chairman Sukraj Girisa. Ward Commissioners Sanjib Chetry, Heli Difusa and Nuhamadi Jidung.

The program was attended by Kangbura Killing, KAAC, Executive Member incharge Town and Country planning, MLA Bidyasing Engleng, EMs and MACs.
