Nzon CC, Essa Warriors win in Senior's Masters League 3

DIMAPUR — Nzon CC and Essa Warriors registered wins in their respective matches of the ongoing Senior's Masters League (SML) season 3 in Chumoukedima on Saturday.

In the first match, Chumou Veterans put up 124/9 in 20 overs. Abenthung Lotha, Lhoupe Koza, Alemtemsu and Nsamyibe contributed to the overall target, according to an update.

However, Nzon CC chased down the target, finishing at 129/6 in 19 overs. Key contributions came from Alo Kez, Neingu Neikha and Yhunshalo Kemp.

Jabu Samy was awarded Man of the Match for his performance with the ball, taking four wickets.

In the second match, Essa Warriors set a total of 139/7 in 20 overs, with contributions coming from Pankaj, Raza Baruah, and Michael.

In reply, Kohima Old Boys were bowled out for 100, falling short of the target. Rakesh was awarded Man of the Match for his performance with the ball.
