Dimapur, July 20 (EMN): The fifteen-day induction training programme of National Youth Volunteers (NYVs) conducted by Nagaland Yuva Kendra Sangathan, held at Youth Hostel, Dimapur from July 4 was concluded on July 18.
Gracing the valedictory function, ADC Dimapur, Sarah Jamir, in her address called upon the youths to be agents of change and to participate in various developmental activities in their respective areas for better future. She also felt the need to avail different skill training imparted by various departments and also urged them to venture out for job avenues and entrepreneurship. ADC also gave away the best discipline district award to NYV, Mon.
The programme was chaired by Toshila NYV, Tuensang while benediction and vote of thanks was pronounced by Olitan, NYV Tuensang and Viseno NYV Kohima respectievly.
A total of 170 volunteers from 11 districts attended the training programme.
