Kohima, Feb. 3(EMN): The Naga Wrestling Association (NWA) will be organising the 12th open Naga wresting from March 7 at Kohima where this year's edition will be hosted by Angami Sports Association.
In a press conference, Neivikuolie, president NWA revealed that this year's edition of wrestling will witness the participation of Rung Lian Ceu from, USA, reportedly, the reigning US and Myanmar Wrestling Champion.
The organisers also disclosed that members of Nagaland Wrestling Association will have an interaction session with USA Wrestling Association during their visit to discuss the association future plans as to how develop wrestling among the Nagas and in international arena so as to make it an Olympic event.
They also stated that this year's edition of wrestling will carry a total cash of INR 6.10 lakhs for the winners. They also said that the president of All India Traditional Wrestling & Pankration Federation (AITWPF) and other dignitaries are slated to attend the wrestling meet.
