DIMAPUR — The
Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) is set to participate in the Senior
National Wrestling Championship 2024, scheduled to be held in Bengaluru,
Karnataka, from December 6 to the 8th.
According
to a press statement issued by Nagaland Wrestling Association joint secretary
Kuzhovesa Soho, association president Vivolie Kezo is leading the team as team
director, with Kikhwesul Thokhwe serving as team coach.
The
wrestlers include the following:

KusayiTsutso (74 kg)
NutsoYhobu (57 kg)
Women
NosezonuKuotsu (50 kg)
VikonoKezo (55 kg)
VizosenoKiso (57 kg)
A brief
prayer fellowship session with the wrestlers and officials, organised by the
Nagaland Wrestling Association, was held over dinner at the Kohima residence of
the NWA president on December 3.
The team
departed for Bengaluru on December 4 and is scheduled to return to Nagaland on
December 10. The Nagaland Wrestling Association has appealed to all wrestling
enthusiasts and the Naga community to uphold the participating team in prayer.
