NWA launches wrestling coaching camp for freestyle, Greco-Roman styles
The Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) has initiated a free coaching camp on freestyle and Greco-Roman style wrestling for all interested wrestlers at IG Stadium in Kohima

- DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Wrestling Association
(NWA) has initiated a free coaching camp on freestyle and Greco-Roman style
wrestling for all interested wrestlers at IG Stadium in Kohima on Monday, with
the assistance of coaches from the Youth Resources and Sports department.
- According to the NWA Media Cell, the camp was formally
launched by NWA president Vivolie Kezo in a brief function.
- Kezo emphasised the importance of being equipped with these
two styles of wrestling, which are international and Olympic events, adding
that Greco-Roman style is closely connected with the Naga style of wrestling.
He further encouraged all campers to approach the camp with seriousness and
strive for a higher level of excellence.
- The training session will be a regular daytime event,
starting from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm. All interested wrestlers are requested
to register and be part of the camp. The NWA fully expects more wrestlers to
join in the subsequent days.
