NVFA to conduct veterans inter-district football tournament

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Veterans Football Association (NVFA) has informed that the Nagaland Veterans Inter-District Football Tournament, which could not be held for the last few years due to unforeseen circumstances, will be conducted this year.

Towards this, NVFA in a press release requested all district veterans’ football associations to start preparations for the same.

“We also request the new districts to immediately form the veteran’s football associations to participate in the tournament,” it stated.

The association also informed that meeting will be called shortly to discuss the ensuing tournament, and representatives from all veterans will be inducted.

Any district willing to host the ensuing tournament may also come prepared with their proposal, NVFA stated.
