Dimapur, June 4 (EMN): Nagaland University Students’ Union, (NUSU) Lumami held its 20th Valedictory ceremony held on May 31, on the theme “Adventure awaits,” with Prof. Pardeshi Lal, Vice-Chancellor Nagaland University, Lumami as chief guest.
Addressing the students, vice chancellor he emphasised on the theme and encouraged the outgoing students to start with determination and march forward with confidence towards achieving their goal. In order to reach their goal one must be ready to accept challenges and never give up, he added.
The newly elected president of the Nagaland University Students’ Union, Lumami, K. Chumseli Anar, in his welcome address quoted “When one journey ends a new one begins” and wished the outgoing students best of luck for their future endeavours.
The outgoing president, Chubalemba B. Chang, spoke on behalf of the executives while Bonoka of 4th semester presented a speech on behalf of outgoing students and Zhekiye Aye, Pastor Youth, Lumami Baptist Church offered prayer for the students.
The programme was chaired by T. Lemteshi of Geography department whiel invocation by Grace Thyü, President of Evangelical Union, Lumami.

organizing secretary, Ezonthung Tungoe as magazine secretary, Amei Konyak as women’s coordinator, Imlichuba Aier as auditor general, Imlikokba Jamir as campus coordinator and Ekonthung Ngullie as information & publicity secretary.
