The second day of students’ spiritual conference in Jalukie was graced by Parliamentary Secretary of Higher Education, Deo Nukhu, as the special guest on March 31. Altogether, twenty three schools comprising 2900 students attended the students spiritual conference on the second day.
Deo Nukhu shared his life history where he narrated how he began his life with the church as a student. He called upon the students to pursue quality education with sincerity, honesty, commitment, moral character and hard working to become successful. Terming student’s life as the best time to build career, he urged the students to be strong members in their church.
Resource person Rev. Dirang Lungalang spoke on the topic “Enjoyment: worldly and spiritually,” while Andrew Ahoto spoke on the topic “Youth challenge to global leadership.”
Other speakers included Rev. Dr. P Dozo, who spoke on the topic “Crucial relationship between parents and children” and Rev. HM Gonmei spoke on the topic “Today’s youth problems, the parents must know.”
