Dimapur, Oct. 30 (EMN): The Nagaland University (NU) football team will be participating in the East Zone Inter-University Football Tournament at Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha which will commence from November 2 to the 8th.
An update from Nagaland University informed that students from four campuses will represent the University led by Nagaland University Football Coach and NFCA Joint Secretary Watimenba Lcr and physio W Nei-E Konyak. The 18-member team consist of Ajay Singh, Techie Letro, Supongkumba Aier, Chubanungba Jamir, Khyothungo Kikon, Eshong Konyak, Kezhangulie, Peramdiwibo, K Ngamkang Salym, Devika Zhimo, G. Jianchuilung, Chetsho Lasuh, Hethanlo Kath, Menovisie Nakhro, Puloka G. Swu, Anish Sunuwar, Bendangtoshi Jamir, and Nito H Khulu. Altogether 64 Universities are competing for the trophy.
Meanwhile, Nagaland University Students’ Union (NUSU), Lumami has wished the team the very best.
