Dimapur, Sep. 26 (EMN): The Women’s Studies Centre and the Department of Teacher Education, Nagaland University, Meriema campus, Kohima will be conducting an ICSSR sponsored 10-day workshop on the topic ‘Research methodology course for PhD students in social sciences’ in the last week of February next year i.e. Feb. 19-28, 2019.
A press note received here stated that that the number of seats is limited to 30 only (20 seats reserved for outstation scholars + 10 seats for local scholars). The participation is free but those interested participants will have to go through a series of scrutiny. Any young researchers who are pursuing their PhD programme in universities or research institutions are eligible to apply.
A candidate desiring to attend the research methodology workshop have to fill the requisite application form along with a copy of recent bio-data which can be forwarded by the head/dean/research supervisor of the institution, university of the concerned applicant. However, the ICSSR guidelines (Indian Council of Social Sciences) stipulates that preference should be given to scholars from the neighbouring states of Nagaland. Therefore, out of the 30 limited seats, twenty seats have been reserved for outstation scholars. The scanned applications should be sent “only” through email to nuicssrworkshop@gmail.com.
