NU Lumami observes 75th anniv of Quit India Movement

Dimapur, August 11 (EMN): Responding to the directive of the MHRD and the UGC, to commemorate the 75th year of Quit India Movement, the Nagaland University, Lumami headquarter, organised a ‘Sankalp se Siddhi,’ Attainment through Resolve programme, on August 9 and took the New India pledge to the university community consisting of faculty members, students, and the non-teaching staff both in English and in Hindi. In a short gathering, Prof. A.K. Singh, registrar gave introductory speech while Prof. Pardeshi Lal, vice-chancellor and Otova Swu, deputy registrar delivered short speeches. The pledge in English and Hindi was administered by Prof. A.K. Singh and Prof. Pardeshi Lal respectively.
