DIMAPUR — The
original members and legitimate officials of Nagaland Transparency, Public
Rights Advocacy and Direct Action Organisation (NTPRADAO), who have
collectively built the organisation since its inception on May 31, 2023, have
unanimously decided to change its nomenclature to NTPRADAO (People’s Justice)
with its operational headquarters based in Dimapur.
NTPRADAO (People’s Justice) stated that it would stand by
its press statement issued on December 17 signed on behalf of all the office
bearers, advisors, CCMs and executive members namely Y Andrew as vice
president, L Chenithung as secretary general, Thrijung Sangtam as general
secretary, Aputo Assumi, Raben Kikon, K Khiamniungan as secretaries, MT Naga,
Meren Ao, Chumdamo Lotha as advisors, Kitoli Sema, M Benny, Asen Ao as women
coordinators.
NTPRADAO (People’s Justice) collectively and unanimously
reiterated the stand to continue its charge about the PHED misappropriation,
embezzlement and siphoning off a major chunk out of the mega 1649.35 crore in
JJM scam.
NTPRADAO (People’s Justice) stated that it is preparing to
launch a mass protest/ agitation demanding the resignation of PHED minister and
principal secretary of PHED besides immediate filing of appropriate cases
against former and current officials involved in corrupt practice between the
period from 2019-2024.
