Dimapur, Dec. 14 (EMN): The Nagaland Tribes Council(NTC) on Thursday also joined the Public Coordination Committee demanding that the government address issues concerning recruitment policies and the Lokayukta. The demand of the organisations are “Revocation of 26th October OM that scrapped Grade III posts from the purview of NPSC to provide equal opportunity in for all; Set up Lokayukta as per the demands of ACAUT incorporating all the points that ACAUT has raised and not merely passing a Lokayukta bill for name sake without any teeth, and Declare answer keys in all stages of exams conducted by NPSC to remove manipulation in the NPSC examination.” “These are legitimate and just demand for the benefit of all Nagas and the coming generation. The government must meet these core demands if it is serious about good governance, transparency and fighting corruption,” the NTC stated.
