Naga Students’ Union Bengalur to hold freshers-cum-Nagas meet

Dimapur, Sep. 15 (EMN): The Naga Students’ Union Bengaluru (NSUB) is organising its 51st annual fresher’s-cum-Nagas meet 2022 on September 17 at India Campus Crusade for Christ, St. Thomas Town, Bengaluru.

NSUB, in an update, informed that the event is being organised after a gap of two years owing to pandemic with an aim to bring all the Nagas in the city together on the theme ‘Becoming the change.’

The event will focus on showcasing the varied folk songs and dances of the different Naga tribes and will feature various Naga artistes.

During the second session, there will also be crowning of Mr and Miss Freshers’ from amongst the 14 tribes. The contest will be judged by Songashim Rungsung (Rubaru Mr. India 2020-21), Gloria Tep (former runners up of India’s Next Top Model) and Vijay Joseph Kapanee (assistant vice president and head of financial analytics, Maybank).

The event will be graced by Bendang Yanger, executive director of BR Innovations Pvt. Ltd. and proprietor of BNS enterprises, as the chief guest and Vijay Joseph Kapanee and Neite Kapfo, senior manager of HR Operations, HCL Technologies, as the guests of honour.
