
Temjenmenba stated this during an interaction with the officers and staff of the Nagaland State Transport (NST) held in the office of the general manager in Dimapur on April 10. An update from NST stated that the advisor, who made his maiden visit to the office of the general manager, had an in-depth and fruitful interaction.
It stated that the advisor had enquired about various areas that needed improvement and encouraged the officers and staff of the department to strive more vigorously for overall improvement of the activities.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]While welcoming the advisor, the general manager of NST, Shikaho P Yeptho, has highlighted on the various challenges and grievances being faced by the department particularly the inability to induct required numbers of new buses in its fleet. He informed that the department, at present, is maintaining skeleton services with over-aged vehicles which are mostly 15 years above.
He further expressed hope that the department would be able to render efficient and reliable transport services to the people of the state under the leadership and guidance of the advisor.
