NSS probationers participate in attachment programme

two-day district attachment programme for the 54th batch Nagaland State
Secretariat (NSS) probationers was held at Pughoboto election district on
February 18 and 19.
- According to a DIPR report, as part of the NSS (P)
Foundation Course training, a delegation of 20 NSS (P) officers visited various
offices, schools, and the CHC under the Pughoboto sub-division. ADC Pughoboto,
Tiameren Chang, addressed the NSS (P) probationers and highlighted aspects of
the Pughoboto sub-division.
- The attachment period aimed to train the probationers in
understanding the functioning of different government offices and provide an
overview of office structure, policies, protocols, and procedures to instill in
them a deep understanding and the right mindset towards public service.
- As part of their exposure visit, the 2025 batch of NSS
probationers visited various government offices, including the EE PWD
(R&B), SDEO (Education), CDPO, SDHO (Horticulture), Government Higher
Secondary School, Pughoboto, and the SMO CHC on the first day.
- On the second day, the probationers trekked to the helipad
and visited a traditional hut at Mishilimi village, along with the new administrative
complex, which was inaugurated in October 2024. The trip also included a visit
to the Pughoboto Police Station (SDPO) and the SDO (Agriculture) office.
- The nodal officer for the programme, Keyileuteing Ndang,
EAC, Pughoboto, and the district head of departments (HoDs), along with their
respective staff, actively engaged with the probationers over the course of the
two-day training. The programme ended with a debriefing from ADC Tiameren
Chang.
