
The survey was conducted in compliance to the directives of NSS North East Zone and State NSS officer, under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, an update from the college stated.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]It stated that a total of 23 students along with four NSS teacher representatives undertook the survey under the supervision of NSS programme officer, Jemsungba Walling.
The survey was actively participated by the villagers resulting in coverage of 70 households and collected data of 23 youth between the age of 15 and 29 years who were not employed or attended formal education.
It stated that chairman of Murise village welcomed the students and teachers and spoke on the issue of unemployment among the youth in Murise village.
Report stated that the survey provided valuable learning opportunities for both the volunteers and teachers. LFIC
