Dimapur, June 10 (EMN): Three days workshop about the preparation of livelihoods action plan for fiscal year 2018-19, the Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM) was conducted from June 6 to 8 in Dimapur.
The Mission director of NRLM, Athel O Lotha encouraged the participants to work sincerely. She urged them to contribute in improving the living standard of the Self Help Group members and the rural community. Further, she assured them to extend full support in all livelihoods interventions as planned by the Livelihoods team during the workshop.
Participants were informed with key interventions of the livelihood component of NSRLM for this year. It included- sustainable agriculture practices; propagation of nutrition garden and organic farming; poultry and piggery interventions; and establishment of custom hiring centres in the village level organizations.
The programme was said to have been conducted for 18 blocks in nine districts of the state.
