Dimapur, Dec. 9 (EMN): Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM), RD block Chumoukedima, in collaboration with Chumoukedima Town Council (CTC) conducted a paper-bag making training on December 6 at CTC hall.
Akhotso Kehie, block programme manager (BPM), thanked Chumoukedima EAC Thejavizo Nakhro for his concern towards the SHGs members of the said block. He requested the members to take the training as a good opportunity for their income generated activities (IGA) subsequent to the banning of polythene/ plastic bags less than 50 microns by state government on December 1.
Thejavizo Nakhro, in his speech to the SHG members, thanked them for their active participation and assured all possible help from the government in finding avenues to sale/ export the products of the SHG paper bags. He also requested them to go for quality products and reasonable prices from the customers.
