DIMAPUR — Nagaland
Science Mission (NSM) has invited research proposal under special call for
multi-disciplinary areas of Science and Technology to address location specific
problems and other potential areas for R&D with a focus to bring out
solutions/ products through Science and Technology applications in Nagaland.
It informed that any indigenous Naga scientists/
technologists/ engineers/ researchers working in academic institutions/
registered societies/ R&D institutions/ universities having adequate
in-house infrastructure/ facilities for R&D could apply proposal for the
project.
It also informed that the grant would be restricted to
laboratory consumables and minor scientific and equipments only, while the project
duration would be for a period of two years only.
The technical expert committee would evaluate the proposals
and select the best few proposals for financial support, strictly based on the
technical merit of the DPR, which will be final and binding.
It stated that any interested applicant could obtain the
prescribed format of the proposal and general guidelines for submission of the
project from the office of NSM or through email request to
NSM.nagaland@gmail.com.
The applicants are required to submit completed proposal
format in MS word and pdf file through email and one hard copy of the same with
all original signatures appended in the certificates from investigators and
endorsement from the head of the proposer’s institution to be sent by post or in
person to the office of Mission Director, Nagaland Science Mission, Directorate
of Science & Technology, below Civil Secretariat, Kohima–797004, Nagaland.
The last date of submission of the proposal has been fixed
on February 15, 2025.
