NSF Trophy: 12 days to go

Kohima, Sep. 24 (EMN): The 22nd edition of the NSF Martyrs' Memorial Trophy, organised annually under the aegis of the Angami Students' Union (ASU) on the theme 'Goal for Peace' is all set to kick off  from October 7 to the  29th  at IG Stadium, Kohima.

The tournament is being organised by ASU in memory of Late Kekuojalie Sachü and Late Vikhozo Yhoshü who were martyred in 1986.

Over the years, the NSF Martyrs' Memorial Trophy has gained its reputation of being one of the most popular football tournaments in the state. There has been a good number of participation of reputed teams from across the districts of Nagaland and even neighbouring states.

This year too, besides teams from Manipur and other states, Shillong Lajong FC has confirmed its participation, informed an update from the organising committee.

The inaugural ceremony is slated to begin on Oct. 7 from 5 pm onwards.

It stated that entry forms and bylaws will be available at Sports World, Sports Paradise-Rüluo Market Keziekie and ASU office-Below AIR Station in Kohima; Falcon Corner in Medziphema; G-Sports, Chümoukedima; and Kiran Sports, Dimapur.

The last date for submission of forms will be on October 1, 2022. Online form submission and payment service are also available on request, it stated.
