NSF takes charge of DSNU

Dimapur, May 28 (EMN): Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has taken over the functioning of the Dimapur Naga Students Union (DNSU), which was stated to have been defunct. As per the approval of the federal assembly, NSF has appointed a five member High Power Committee (HPC) headed by K Temjen Jamir as convener along with V Phushika Awomi as member secretary and three other members namely Sakho Angami, G Vashum, Mhachio Lotha. NSF has stated this in a release on May 26. The press release stated that the HPC would take over the affairs of the DNSU and would be responsible to perform the duties of the office till further notice. The federation has further appealed to all the constituent units of the DNSU and the public to extend their support and cooperation to the committee.
