Kohima, Sep. 26 (EMN): On the fifth day of the ongoing 20th NSF Martyr's Memorial Trophy 2019 at Kohima local ground, Amicus Unitum FC and Viswemi FC won their respective matches.
In the first match played on Thursday, September 26, Lanzumo C Murry opened the account for Amicus Unitum FCby scoring a goal in the 20th minute and Chetsho Lasuh added one more in the 39th minute before the first half comes to an end.
After the breather, Kevizakie Ciesotsu scored the first goal for Future Boys FC in the 42nd minute of the second half. They attacked to level the score but the custodian of Amicus Unitum FC didn’t pave way despite several attempts. Amicus Unitum FC eventually beat Future Boys FC Meriema 2-1.
Khyolamo Tungoe, Khaiwang Konyak and Kapzei Konyak of Amicus Unitum FC and Kevizakie Ciesotsu of Future Boys FC Meriema were handed yellow card during the match.
The second match was played between Viswemi FC and Kohima Science College, Jotsoma. The teams had to do for a tie-breaker after the match ended in a goalless draw. Viswemi FC won the penalty shootout 4-3.
Players who received yellow cards during the match were Achong and Atong of Kohima Science College, and Tianuksang and Kelehosa Kikhi of Viswema FC.
