Dimapur, Sep. 22 (EMN): Angami Students' Union (ASU) will be organising the 21st Edition of NSF Martyrs' Memorial Trophy from Oct.9 to Nov. 6 at IG Stadium in Kohima.
An update from ASU informed that the Trophy is being organised in honour of the two comrades late Kekuojalie Sachü of Kohima village and late Vikhozo Yhoshü of Kigwema village, who were victims of indiscriminate firing of the Armed Police at Alichen on March 20, 1986.
It stated that the match allowances and prizes of the tournament are INR 2,00,00 for the champion,
INR 1,20,000 for the runner up, INR 30,000 for losing semifinalist and INR 15,000 for losing quarter-finalists.
Meanwhile, individual prizes will be awarded to player of the tournament, highest scorer, best custodian, best defender and best mid-fielder.
It stated that forms would be available in Kohima at Sports Paradise, Ruluo Market Keziekie, Sports World, main town, KK Motors Royal Enfield, High School, NSF office, ASU office, below AIR Station, Falcon Corner in Medziphema, G-Sports, Chumoukedima and Kiran Sports in Dimapur.
The last date of form submission is October 6, it added.
